What does the Lake House provide?

Nestled in the heart of Ohio, our Lake House sits on the shores of 1,100-acre Leesville Lake, one of the state's premier fishing and relaxation destinations. Located in Carroll County, this pristine waterway boasts 2,700 acres of surrounding land and maintains a peaceful 9.9 horsepower limit for a tranquil experience.

We spent the weekend in The Lake House. Firefly Woods is an incredible place. Absolutely gorgeous, very peaceful with stunning views. The house is very spacious and well thought out. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. We slept great, got up early, made breakfast and hit the water with our boat that was conveniently docked right out front. Leesville lake is beautiful and provides excellent fishing opportunities for Muskie and perch as well as multiple other species. We caught countless perch right off the dock. Our granddaughter had a blast playing in the lake with the Harmon kids. They were kind and included her in their adventures around the property. The Harmons are very good and friendly folks. Very willing to help us with anything we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be returning at least twice a year for a week stay each time. A weekend just wasn’t long enough.

Clean rooms, high-quality linens with those high-thread-count sheets, and all the essentials you’d expect in a top-notch accommodation. The WiFi is fast and reliable, perfect for staying connected while still enjoying that “off the grid” feeling. The highlight of the trip for me was the fishing! They offer a guide who is not only super knowledgeable but also a blast to hang out with. Whether you’re a pro or just getting started, he’ll make sure you have a great time and even help you reel in some impressive catches. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a blend of rustic charm, comfort, and fantastic fishing!
